Kitaro is the last survivor of the Ghost Tribe. Usually, Kitaro leads a carefree life in Spooky Forest with his father Daddy Eyeball. He tries to have as little as possible to do with the human world, but when a letter arrives in the Yo-kai Post informing him of some incidents caused by Yo-kai, he comes clip-clopping in his wooden clogs to the human world.
